Vibrant black cherry colour, with medium intensity and great clarity. The nose is brimming with ripe,  fresh cherries and a hint of Spanish spice. This is carried through to the palate which is fresh and dry with a clean palate. Joven means young and this wine is intended for easy drinking and is ideally paired with tapas style eating. Not certified Biodynamic but upholds the same principles.

Joven Otare

Joven Otare is produced by Aroa in the heart of Tierra Estella, one of the five sub-zones which make up the Donomination of Navarre in spain. Aroa came about in 1998 and was the result of efforts to recover an activity which has been carried out for a thousand years on the lands of the area (Deierri), namely winegrowing. At Aroa they do not use chemicals or herbicides and also follow the principles of biodynamic agriculture. They enrich and protect the earth with organic materials.

Ethical - To classify as ethical all of these products have had to meet Joshua’s own strict ethical criteria, meaning we consider them to be ethically produced.

Local - Local products have all been produced in Devon or within one hour of our store.

Wheat-Free - These products all claim they are wheat free on their packaging

Joshua’s - These products are all either Joshua’s branded, or made by our chef and his team here on site.
