Made to a traditional recipe from an infusion of freshly picked elderflowers with lots of fresh lemon juice, this cordial has a delicate scented taste and makes a refreshing drink when mixed with still or sparkling mineral water. Belvoir Elderflower Cordial makes sensational spritzers with white wine and sparkling water and cocktails with gin or vodka and tonic. It can be used to make sorbets and mousses, and to enhance many desserts. It can also be drunk hot as a healthy toddy: elderflower has been known to have beneficial properties in the treatment of colds and flu since Roman times.

Belvoir

All of Belvoir's award winning cordials are made and bottled at Belvoir Fruit Farm. They use the finest quality fresh fruit from local fruit farmers and highly reputed importers of, for instance, fresh Ginger and fresh Lemon Grass. Wherever possible they squeeze, crush, press, cook or infuse the raw fruits and flowers themselves to keep their freshness and taste.

Ethical - To classify as ethical all of these products have had to meet Joshua’s own strict ethical criteria, meaning we consider them to be ethically produced.

Biodynamic - Biodynamic products are those that have been produced using biodynamic methods. More information on biodynamic agriculture .

Local - Local products have all been produced in Devon or within one hour of our store.

Wheat-Free - These products all claim they are wheat free on their packaging

Joshua’s - These products are all either Joshua’s branded, or made by our chef and his team here on site.
